Firstly, the installation of this thermostat requires the preparation of a 25A adapter or circuit breaker, with the correct voltage of 110-120V, and proper wiring. The wiring should be arranged as follows: green for grounded, black for live, and white for neutral.

Secondly, the use of 1.5-inch pipes is essential, as smaller pipes may not ensure sufficient water flow. Additionally, a water pump with a rating of 0.25HP/200W or a flow rate of 3600 liters per hour or higher should be used to ensure it can activate the water flow switch inside the device for the thermostat to function properly. Insufficient flow will prevent the thermostat from working, so extra attention is needed.

Thirdly, the proper installation orientation is crucial; the direction of water flow should match the direction indicated by the arrow on the device (the arrow direction indicates the inlet and outlet). The thermostat will only work when installed correctly. Incorrect installation orientation will prevent the thermostat from functioning.

Fourthly, the outlet water temperature should be adjusted to a high setting; the thermostat will only operate when the water temperature is higher than the set outlet temperature. When the water temperature exceeds the set temperature, the device will automatically stop working. The adjustment range is from 32ºF to 113ºF (0-45℃). When the hot water exceeds 139ºF (60℃), the reset button will automatically pop out and cut off the power. To reactivate the device, you need to unscrew the cap next to the adjustment knob and press the reset button.

Fifthly, the primary function of this device is to maintain the temperature of the hot tub, so please fill the hot tub with hot water rather than cold water. It is recommended to use an insulating cover to maintain the water temperature.

Lastly, the recommended hot tub capacity is 200 gallons, with a maximum of up to 400 gallons under suitable insulation conditions.

This thermostat, model H20-RS1, operates at 110-120V/50-60Hz, 2000W, and comes with 1-PC hot tub thermostat and 2-PCS tube connectors (the tube is not included, you need to prepare an extra 1.5" hoses). It is suitable for a bathtub with 200 gallons, up to 400 gallons.

Please make sure the direction of the water flow is correct, otherwise, it will not work. The minimum working pressure is 0.035MPa. We recommend using at least a 0.25HP/200W (1500GPH) pump for optimal performance.

The required heating time varies according to the environment and water temperature, so it is recommended to fill the bathtub with hot water instead of cold water to reduce the heating time (better with an insulation cover).

By adjusting the temperature button, the thermostat can keep the water temperature between 0℃ and 45℃ (32ºF~113ºF), and it turns on and off automatically according to the temperature you set. If the temperature exceeds 60℃(139ºF), the reset button will pop out and cut off the power, requiring manual reset.
